What Happens If the Meter Loses Power?

The Setra Power meter comes standard with a battery backup for the real time clock to prevent the user from losing the date and time if a power outage occurs.

The battery will last at least five years, but if it does need to be replaced, it must be replaced with a UL recognized CR2016 lithium battery. See the instructions on replacing the battery.
